His work is rooted in the experimental and collective energy of club culture, as well as driven by research on the influences of algorithms and data systems in society. Building with industrial materials, retro electronics and TouchDesigner, he translates the invisible character of emerging technologies into immersive structures and metaphors that can be touched and felt. By doing so, he aims to invite a wider audience into the conversation about technology, and to close the gap between culture and technology.
In his latest work RE:GISTER a kinetic, old computer collects visitor's data as they log in. Once inside, their data starts to live and starts to ask strangers to release it from the PC. It was protyped at Waag Futurelab and will be shown at Dutch Design Week 2026. His installation MONOCULTURE shows how algorithms decide what thoughts our screens show us, by shooting messages in a network of old television screens with lasers. It was shown at GLOW 2025, nominated for the GLOW Young Talent Award and will be presented at TURF 2026.
With his musical project, Gioray, he builds hardware-driven live sets, making dub techno and ambient sounds with his synthesizers. He also experiments by making audiovisual live performances and real-time data sonification. He has played at Wildeburg Festival, STRP, Garage Noord, PIP and more.
As artistic director of BREEK, a platform that explores art in nightlife, he curates and organizes events across the Netherlands where club culture collides with audiovisuals performances and installation art, in spaces outside both the museum and the commercial club.
Born and raised in Eindhoven, he works from a studio inside an old Philips factory, and lives between Eindhoven and Brussels.
